Henley Does Movember

13th May 2016

Working at Henley Philanthropy

November 2014 saw Henley’s General Manager, Justin McDean take part in the inspiring Movember challenge. Justin’s enthusiasm and dedication to the cause, along with the support and donations of Henley staff and suppliers Stoddarts, saw an amazing $5,148.65 raised. The amazing news didn’t stop here however, with Henley’s Directors matching this already fabulous result and again showing their philanthropic nature by donating a further $5,000.

This lead to an astounding $10,518 raised and donated to The Movember Foundation! Not only did Justin McDean and all here at Henley help bring awareness to men’s health issues but this achievement also meant Justin was sporting the handsome Hulk Hogan moustache and ranked 21st nationally on the Movember leader board, a fantastic achievement for Justin’s first year as a Mo Bro.

The Movember Foundation aims to create awareness and discussion about men’s health issues, has funded 770 men’s health funds since its inception in 2003 and has 21 countries participate in the global movement that is Movember.

Thank you to all that contributed to this wonderful and much deserved cause.
