Proudly partnering with RULE Prostate Cancer
In Australia, every three hours, six men will learn they have prostate cancer, and unfortunately one will die from it. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in Australia, however the survival rate is the highest of all cancers and the solution is simple – get checked, don’t wait until it’s too late.
Henley Homes has proudly joined forces, for the second year running, with the Australian Prostate Centre’s “Protecting Legends’ initiative, to help put Prostate Cancer front of mind to all Australians.
This year, The Australian Prostate Centre is working closely with iconic fundraising organisation, E.J. Whitten Foundation, to create a powerful new platform for fundraising, called RULE Prostate Cancer.
We are passionate about health and wellbeing
On and off the building site, we are passionate about health and wellbeing, and with challenging times still with us, our mental and physical wellbeing should still be a top priority. Even during the pandemic, you are still entitled and encouraged to schedule your regular checkups. Prevention and early intervention are always the best outcomes.
The race is on for continued research and improved therapies
As part of the #protectinglegends campaign, Henley will be supporting RULE Prostate Cancer at the Melbourne Racing Club Foundation Day to be held Saturday 18th September at Caulfield Racecourse. And despite no crowds on race day, supporters can still be loud and proud championing the cause from home.
Through the campaign, RULE Prostate Cancer is not only urging more Australian men to get checked but also an opportunity to raise vital funds towards prostate cancer research, education and treatment.
Henley’s partnership with RULE Prostate Cancer is important to the entire team, working with the organisation to promote men’s health awareness in Australia.
Building awareness across our network
Being a male-dominated industry, especially across Henley’s network of trades and suppliers, Henley hopes to ignite an interest in Prostate awareness, and use their voice to support APC and keep the conversation going. Join the race to beat prostate cancer and ask the question or book in to get checked today!
