Since 1993, we've proudly supported The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal by building and donating a brand-new family home - auctioned off each year to raise vital funds for sick children.
Good Friday Appeal Home
The 2026 Good Friday Appeal Home has officially sold for a record‑breaking $1,212,000 at a no‑reserve auction in Villawood’s Alamora community in Tarneit, with every dollar raised supporting sick children and their families through The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. The auction day was a powerful celebration of generosity and community spirit, marking another unforgettable chapter in this long‑standing partnership. Positioned on a north‑facing 448m² block overlooking serene wetlands, the 2026 home, a Lancaster 440‑D47 with bold Monroe façade, was a striking double‑storey design blending architectural style with practical, family‑focused living.
Designed with flexibility and space in mind, the home featured five generous bedrooms, three bathrooms, a powder room, dedicated study and mudroom, and multiple living zones including a dramatic open‑plan kitchen, living and dining area anchored by a stunning void. A ground‑floor guest suite and upstairs master retreat offered privacy and comfort for families of all sizes.
Fully furnished and professionally landscaped, the home was completed through the immense generosity of trades, suppliers, contractors and partners, all donating their time, expertise and materials to bring it to life. Year after year we're grateful to everyone involved. Find out how we thanked them here. Together, we’ve now built 47 homes and raised more than $22.7 million to support world‑class paediatric care.
We’re already looking ahead to the 2027 Good Friday Appeal Home.

Auction Day 2026
Auction Day 2026 marked a special moment of community, generosity and impact in support of The Royal Children’s Hospital.
The Good Friday Appeal charity home has become a cherished tradition in our business. For more than 30 years, we’ve proudly joined forces with our land partners (our 2026 home is the 17th in partnership with Villawood Properties), our trusted trades and suppliers, and the wider community to make it all possible.
To date, we’ve built 47 homes and raised more than $22.7 million for The Royal Children’s Hospital - helping provide life-saving equipment, ground-breaking research, and world-class care to children across Victoria... and we’re not done yet.
Every home tells a story. Every dollar changes lives.
We know how important home is. It’s where families grow, connect, and feel safe. And for families facing serious illness, a sense of safety and support becomes more important than ever.
That’s why this project means so much to everyone at Henley. It’s our chance to give back in the best way we know how - by doing what we do every day, but for something truly extraordinary.
From our construction team to our interior designers and supplier network, this home is truly built with love.
