EXTERNAL INSPIRATION

Luxe

Luxe living has never looked better. Bold textures with soft accents of light creams and whites create tonal variation and residential luxury. A mid-tone neutral palette comprising rich textures, bold feature detailing and heavily patterned brickwork lend itself to this opulent style.

Industrial

Industrial speaks to the daring individual who loves a modern twist on traditional architecture. The exterior sees a rustic refined look of reclaimed bricks, dark detailing around windows and doors, and weathered timber accents to complete the look. The combination of these elements helps to give the space a bold warehouse feel, which is the ultimate goal with this style of design.

Architectural

Externally the architectural style makes a bold and powerful statement with its use of texture and colour. A palette of monolithic blacks, contemporary concrete and blonde timbers combine to create a scheme of compelling strength and confidence drawn from modern architecture. Though non-traditional in a material sense, the colours and textures of this dramatic palette add a thoughtful and architectural edge to this sophisticated scheme.

Loft

From the street, Loft is a sensory feast, highlighting both textures and colours that evoke curiosity and interest. The palette, with its dark features has a refined Hollywood Hills style, a slice of New York Ritz studded with charm and substance, inviting people to look and admire.

Coastal

Think Byron Bay escape, think Australian coastal. A crisp exterior palette inspired by the love and light of coastal holidays. Crisp white details teamed with blonde timber accents blend seamlessly with the environment. Coastal creates a soothing visual harmony, with the warm, honest tones suiting both traditional and contemporary design.

Retreat

Create your own sanctuary with the Retreat theme. Grand Porches, feature cladding and statement entry doors are all standout features of this earthy exterior concept. A fusion of indoor and outdoor details connects the facade to the interior design, while the natural elements of this scheme allows it to fit in seamlessly with the Australian landscape. If you ever wanted to live in a home away from home, this is the perfect style for the fee spirited traveller!

INTERNAL INSPIRATION

Luxe

Escaping the everyday and stepping into high class luxury, with the rich browns, gold detailing and hints of dark timbers. This scheme oozes elegance and high status. Contemporary meets unrivalled luxury just without the high price tag! Opulence from corner to corner with the opportunity for bold lavish styling or simple sophistication and class.

Industrial

Industrial style or industrial chic refers to an aesthetic trend of interior design that takes clues from old factories and industrial spaces. The Industrial home is where architectural design meets modern finishes. Think inner city converted warehouses where components include weathered wood, building systems, exposed brick, concrete and industrial lighting fixtures. This style incorporates raw materials to give the space an unfinished feel.

Loft

Taking cues from industrial design, Loft feels like you have stepped into an upper East Side Manhattan apartment with its timeless sophistication and elegance. The simplistic look is created with moody greys, dark timbers and beautifully crafted fabrics to soften this masculine design and evoke a high end, luxury apartment vibe.

Coastal

For the lovers of white, natural textures and light timbers. With the use of natural light, soft tones and a clean aesthetic, this scheme evokes relaxation and the breeziness of the beach. Coastal is fresh and bright without being clinical, a blank canvas with a base palette of crisp white and the added warmth of timbers and natural textures throughout. Fall in love with the timelessness of white.

Retreat

The Retreat style is all about laid-back luxury, think of your ideal holiday getaway and you’ll immerse yourself into this theme. Harvesting its look directly from some of the world’s most beautiful resorts and day spas we see a wonderful play on texture, natural timbers, linens, stone, and warm accents. Make your house your own personal holiday escape and enjoy the retreat vibe all year round.

HENLEY DESIGNER BIOGRAPHIES

We have such an amazingly talented team of Interior Designers and every one of them brings something unique to Henley. The passion and creativity that flows through the Design Showroom daily is inspiring and you can’t help but get excited when you walk through the space.

VICKI GILLINGHAM

From an early age I found myself immersing myself in all things design, from interiors to fashion, graphics to visual merchandising and all things in between. I would steal the home living section out of my dad’s newspaper before he even had a chance to read it. I have a passion for reducing my environmental footprint and creating the best life I can for my family.

MICAELA AUSTIN

I love the challenge of taking an old rundown home and giving it a new lease on life with an updated floor plan and also renovating my favourite rooms, the Kitchen and Bathrooms. It forces me to think outside the box and get creative! Nothing else excites me more!

ABBIE O'CONNOR

Living in inner city Melbourne gives me a chance to enjoy the endless retail, restaurants, bars and cafes at my doorstep. I’m always drawing inspiration from these spaces to pass onto my customers. When I’m at home you can find me at curled up with a coffee, my dalmatian Dot and a good home magazine.

RHONNIE ATHANASIADIS

Interior design. I live for it. I am very lucky to have my job as my passion and hobby. When I’m not at work I find myself researching the newest hottest trends either online, by visiting shows, flicking through magazines, reading books, or indulging at new cafés and restaurants. My brain never turns off from design and I love that.

PHOENIX DAVIS

Growing up, rather than having posters of singers on my bedroom walls I would cut out and stick up homes from real estate mags. It gave me something to dream about. A young girls dream is now my full-time passion.

SARAH ANDREW-GREEN

I am grateful to be able to help clients personalise their homes.  To help them achieve the exact look and feel they have envisaged for their dream home. For many, it’s a lifelong dream and I find nothing more satisfying than seeing their happy faces at the end of a colours appointment as they see their dream coming to life

REBECCA DUNN

From a young age I’ve been interested in colour schemes and designs of houses. You would find me always flicking through the real estate section in newspapers admiring trends, unique styles and modern houses. I feel totally at home in the Henley Design Showroom.

NATALIA MANION

I’ve had a passion for Interior Design since childhood. As a little girl I would always try and reinvent my bedroom floorplan and layout, constantly moving furniture around the house. Every season I would add in décor with my mum. I will treasure those memories forever.
