Henley and Villawood Properties are thrilled to have raised a whopping $605,000 for 2012’s Good Friday Appeal thanks to the Charity Auction House initiative! Approximately 500 people attended the no-reserve charity auction on Good Friday, packing the streets in Alamanda, Point Cook to cheer on the four bidders as they battled it out to be crowned the new owners of the brand new beautiful Henley home.

A total of 10 bids were recorded throughout the heated auction, with Hercules and Esme Duvel of Seaholme, securing the home with a final bid of $605,000.

The 2012 Charity Auction House initiative marks over $10.8 million raised for the Good Friday Appeal since its inception 19 years ago. Last year’s funds enabled the hospital to purchase highly-sophisticated imaging equipment which provides improved imaging and results accuracy for patients with forms of cancer, neurological conditions and other disorders.

Thanks again to everyone who either donated their time or participated in the event, and we look forward to raising even more funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital this year in 2013 in what will be the Charity Auction Home’s 20th year .

Construction is underway for the 2013 Charity Auction House in Villawood’s Pasadena Estate in Clyde.
