Bang on trend with the Banksia 31

Realestate.com.au recently presented its readers the opportunity to discover more about The Banksia 31 by Henley.

Natasha Perera, New Ltd reporter, spoke with Henley General Manager Sales, Marketing and Design, Jeremy Hanger, on the Banksia’s generosity with space and smart layout, making it a perfect family home.

Redefining modern and easy living

Cleverly designed, the double-storey Banksia 31 is as smart, as it beautiful.

Natasha was impressed with its clever layout which contributes to this home’s sense of space. The Banksia also has “a good use of windows, including a servery window in the kitchen, ensuring each area is filled with an abundance of light.”

Natasha adds, “The home’s colour scheme creates a fresh feel. As displayed, there are greys, whites and earthy browns combined with natural finishes including timber and stone, all pepped up with zesty lime decor.”

In the living area, a mirrored wall, as displayed, “allows light to bounce around the space and creates a beautiful sense of opulence and expansiveness”, Mr Hanger said.

Design features aplenty

Every room in the Bankia 31 has been given the Midas touch for functionality and style.

In the study, a floating desk boosts the room’s contemporary style and visually opens up the floor space.

“And in the kitchen, the overhead cabinets have been kept to a minimum to ensure an uncluttered appearance.” Natasha said

“Other highlights of the kitchen include a walk-in pantry, induction cooktop, under-bench oven, raised timber breakfast bar and stone benchtops.”

The overhead cabinets there, and in the laundry, are handle-less to blend with the neutral palette of the walls, so the joinery visually disappears into the background without overshadowing each space.

Facades aplenty

The Banksia features a choice of seven facade options, with the popular Dakota facade on display at Clyde North.
