General News Design Recognition

Victoria’s number one metro newspaper, the Herald Sun, recently featured Henley’s all-new boutique development in Wollert, called St Claire.

Herald Sun journalist, Natasha Perera spoke to Henley’s General Manager Land Development, Chris Betts, who shared some of the detail on the latest ready-built offering in Melbourne.

A masterclass in master planning

St Claire, located only 27km north of the Melbourne CBD, is Henley’s newest master planned community, where every house is already matched to a lot, streamlining the home-buying process.

Natasha adds, “The lots in stage 1 are already titled, which means buyers won’t have to endure a long wait before building.”

Chris Betts adds, “forget about long lead times for land titles and compromising on your favourite home design,” he said. “Each lot at St Claire has a pre-planned house design matched to it so you won’t need to waste time hunting for the land you love or vice versa.

“Plus, our variety of lot sizes means that you can have the choice of a low-maintenance backyard or a larger space for entertaining.”

Two simple ways to buy in St Claire

Natasha says, “buyers choose from a selection of pre-planned house-and-land packages and then customise their homes by choosing their internal colours and finishes.

“Fourteen of these house-and-land packages were released in June, with only six still remaining for sale. Additional packages will be released soon.

“The second option is a range of ready-built homes,” Mr Betts said. “It’s as simple as it sounds – already built and ready for you to move into.

Both package styles include front-garden landscaping, fencing, a driveway and letterbox.

Living the life in St Claire

Natasha said, “the community is in the heart of an emerging suburb that offers easy access to three nearby shopping centres.  “(St Claire) is also within easy reach of Pacific Epping shopping centre, with over 220 stores, including Coles, Woolworths, Target, Big W and Best&Less,” Mr Betts said.

Westfield Plenty Valley shopping centre is also nearby, offering an additional 180 stores and Village Cinemas

The Hume Freeway, Western Ring Rd and Metropolitan Ring Rd are easily accessible, while Epping train station is 4.8km away. The new Mernda train station is also only approximately 11km away.

“There is a range of public and private primary and secondary schools and childcare options close by, and a proposed school and community centre are planned for the area, as part of the Wollert Precinct Structure Plan.” She said.
