For more than four years, Henley has partnered with GuardIT Solutions for all their brick cleaning needs, ensuring that every aspect of their construction process aligns with their environmental values. This partnership has seen GuardIT products being used to clean approximately 4,000 Henley homes, using products that are as effective as they are eco-friendly.
GuardIT Solutions provides a range of environmentally responsible products, including their Green Acid Replacement (GAR) and Manganese, Vanadium and Rust Remover (MVR). These products not only enhance the appearance and longevity of Henley’s brickwork but also offer a safer alternative to harsh chemicals.

One of the standout products Henley uses is GuardIT’s Green Acid Replacement. This safe alternative to traditional, harsh acids effectively removes cement and mortar residue as well as salt-based contaminants while being gentle on the environment. The application process is straightforward—saturate the wall with fresh water, apply the diluted GAR solution, leave it for 3-5 minutes and rinse with water to remove any residue. This process not only ensures clean and pristine brickwork but also aligns with Henley’s commitment to safety and sustainability.
Henley also benefits from GuardIT’s Manganese, Vanadium, and Rust Remover (MVR), which is designed to tackle organic stains on brickwork. Applied directly onto the dry surface, the MVR works quickly, often eliminating most stains with no rinsing required.
